Today’s blog post is about the top reasons I have a separate email address to serve as a junk email address.

I have several different email accounts for different purposes. I created a separate email account three years ago because my personal email was being flooded with promotional emails from the email lists and rewards programs that I signed up for. After I created my new email account I started using it when signing up to receive special deals or promotions from companies. This allows me to stay organized and stay on top of my emails.
4. Privacy
By having several different email accounts for different purposes such as personal, junk and school it allows me more privacy. For example, I only tell family and friends my personal email address and I contact professors using my school email address. This helps me separate my personal and school life.
