Since December is only a few days away I thought that I would share my next low waste gift guide on stocking stuffers.
1. Bamboo toothbrush
Bamboo is a highly renewable material and you can repurpose or compost the bamboo handle when you are done. Once you are done using it remove the bristles first before placing in a garden or compost bin
2. Floss in glass refillable container or cardboard box
3. Lip balm in cardboard tube
4. Toothpaste
You can find toothpaste in a recyclable aluminum tube or in tablet form
5. Reusable cotton rounds to remove makeup
6. Bandana
They are versatile, reusable, and come in a variety of colors or patterns
7. Biodegradeable hair ties
I am still using up hair ties that I already have. But once they are all gone I plan on buying Terra Hair Ties. Since they are compostable and biodegradable.
One thing I do to prevent me from constantly losing hair ties is keeping them in a repurposed glass jam jar. I also keep one on my water bottle, toothbrush, and hairbrush. It may seem odd but it helps me from constantly replacing hair ties.
8. Notebooks made of recycled paper
9. Reusable straw and straw cleaner brush
You can find reusable straws made of metal, glass, bamboo or siliocone.
10. Bulk candy
You can buy candy from the bulk bins at a grocery store using a reusable container or bag
11. Chocolates wrapped in paper or cardboard
12. Fresh fruit
You can buy them package free from the grocery store or farmers market
13. Succulent
A low maintenence and cute little plant
14. Sprout or Onyx and Green brand Pencils or colored pencils
Sprout pencils are plantable because they contain seeds inside the pencil and biodegradeable. While the Onyx and Green brand colored pencils are made of recycled newspaper.
15. Stasher bag
16. Deodorant in a cardboard tube or refillable container
17. Reusable produce bags
18. Reusable shopping bags
19. Bath bombs
You can buy them from Lush package free. Or you can find them in zero-waste stores or Etsy in plastic-free packaging.
20. Organic socks and undergarments
21. Tea Infuser
22. Compostable or biodegradable sponge
23. Book
If you are looking for places to buy stocking stuffers I recommend shopping locally. Or buying online from companies that offer carbon-neutral shipping such as Etsy and Earth Hero. This post is not sponsored, I just like both companies. If you are trying to be more sustainable and zero waste I encourage you not to be too hard on yourselves. You trying to be a more conscious consumer matter and it makes a difference.
Also down below if you have any low waste stocking stuffer gift ideas comment below. I will update this blog post if I have any more ideas.
