I got inspired to create a zero-waste kit from Zero Waste Chef a few months ago. So I decided to finally create my own zero-waste kit. I used items that I had around my house that I had been using to help me be more zero waste. I also tried to keep it simple and I will only take what I need with me when I am on the go.
However, because of the pandemic, some places might not allow reusable containers and bags. If that’s the case don’t beat yourself up and do the best that you can.
1. Reusable Bag
I use my everyday backpack that I take with my when I go to school or work.
2. Napkin
I use a bandana or cloth napkins I made out of a pillowcase I purchased from a thrift store. I am going to wrap my cutlery in a napkin or bandana to keep them clean.
3. Reusable water bottle or travel thermos
4. Cutlery
I used cutlery that I bought a few months ago from Family Dollar. You can also buy cutlery from a thrift store or use what you have in your kitchen. You don’t need to buy a travel cutlery set, I only have one because I was given one as a gift.
5. Reusable container
I am still phasing out my plastic food containers, when they fall apart I will upgrade to a glass or stainless steel container.
6. Mesh or cloth produce bags
7. Reusable snack/sandwich bags
I have reusable fabric snack bags and stasher bags which are made of sillicone.
Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many
months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any solutions to
stop hackers? https://vanzari-parbrize.ro/parbrize/parbrize-fiat.html
Hi, I have not had any trouble with hackers only with spam. But I do use Norton antivirus, strong passwords, and code guard basic to backup my site. I hope that this helps.
